WorkShift is designed with a privacy-first approach. All your shift, profile, and template data is stored locally on your device. We do not upload your shift schedule, pay information, or work profiles to any external servers.
- Local Data: Shifts, Templates, Profiles, and Settings are saved locally on your device.
- Premium Status: If you purchase WorkShift Premium, the transaction and subscription status are handled securely by Google Play. We check your status locally using Google Play Billing Library.
- Diagnostics: In case of app crashes, anonymized crash reports may be collected via Google Play Console to help us fix bugs.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data stored locally exclusively to power the app's features (calculating your pay, displaying your calendar, tracking your shifts). We do not have access to this data.
4. Permissions
The app may request the following permissions:
- Notifications: Used strictly to send you local shift reminders before a shift begins. No notification data is sent off-device.
